UCL 09/10: Who will go through after Gameweek 4?

It is the halfway point in the UEFA Champions League group stage and we would like to know who you think will go through to the knockout phase. A number of clubs are poised to sew up their progress to the first knockout round – while some of Europe’s biggest names face the prospect of elimination. Who do you think will advance?

Liverpool mission
Five-time winners Liverpool FC will be among the teams most desperate for victory in Matchday 4. They lie third in Group E ahead of their trip to face leaders Olympique Lyonnais, who will be keen to repeat their win at Anfield last time out and push the Merseysiders further towards the exit. Along with Chelsea FC, Manchester United FC and Sevilla FC, Lyon boast a perfect record and all four know another triumph would seal their qualification. The same applies to Group H duo Arsenal FC and Olympiakos FC heading into their respective encounters with AZ Alkmaar and R. Standard de Liège.

Inter form
FC Internazionale Milano cannot afford to keep slipping up in Group F as they find themselves bottom due to a sequence of three draws, with FC Rubin Kazan having entered the race to advance with victory at FC Barcelona on Matchday 3. Can Rubin advance at the expense of one of the continents biggest names? José Mourinho’s side will be looking to post their first win in nine UEFA club competition outings, much as FC Bayern München will be fired up for the visit of Group A frontrunners FC Girondins de Bordeaux. Third in the pool behind Juventus, the Bundesliga giants have three games in which to break into the top two.

Unirea surprise
Another unfancied side, FC Unirea Urziceni will also be fancying their chances in Group G where they sit surprisingly above both Rangers FC and VfB Stuttgart after three games. So who do you think will survive the group stage and which teams are destined to fall short?
